ABOUT
Ever since childhood I have been fascinated by aircraft,
particularly sailplanes. For the last 15 years I have been building, designing,
and flying R/C sailplanes. In high school I began experimenting with flying
wings and have since gotten hooked on them for their structural simplicity.
During this time I stumbled on to the Weasel design, which I started selling in
kit form to local modelers in 1996. The Weasel has since then evolved into a
slightly smaller, more maneuverable aircraft - read more about the Weasel.
After
completing a degree in mechanical engineering in 2001 at the University of
California at Santa Barbara, and spending a half-year in Germany learning light
aircraft construction at Schempp-Hirth Flugzeugbau, I have decided to start a
small business selling my designs in kit form over the Internet. The first in
the series is the Weasel. I hope you have fun with them!
