CUSTOMERS AND THEIR GLIDERS  Ole Kanestrom, of beautiful Port Townsend, Washington, demonstrates a hands-free launch.  Nice work! Benard Simpier of California crafted this very bird-like Alula  Graeme Hogg's daughter of the UK proudly displays her father's new Alula. Graeme's stunning design was inspired by the wing patterns on the Monarch butterfly.  This super clean Weasel-pro was built by Jeff Walton of Victoria, Australia.   A nice flying sequence in Poland of Przemek Marek's three surface Alula.  Rene Wallage and his buddies display their Weasels after a good day of flying in Israel. Three junior members from the Seattle Area Soaring Society attended as well and flew the heck out of the three servo version." "Anyway, the one thing the kids tried was mounting a towhook in front of the CG and running a line from the hook to an attachment point on an IFO (a disk shaped fabric and carbon rod electric). That's right, they successfully aerotowed the Alula!" ARCHIVES This year's Weasel-Fest was a hoot! We were fortunate to dodge two storm systems and the weather cleared out both days to provide us with great flying conditions. Saturday was spectacular; consistent 15 knot onshore winds and sunshine to boot! Click here for a look back at this year's flying festivities.
